UK-based FFP Packaging Solutions has developed and delivered new packaging film designs for snack products firm Whitworths' breakfast range that consists of 30 new products.
The packaging manufacturer created 13 film designs using its Platinum Print flexographic workflow technology, which is claimed to guarantee color accuracy as well as right first time on-press performance.
FFP partnered with repro supplier Itarus for the development of new designs to ensure color of the packaging material, which had number of layers in the laminate structure with associated design colors.
Whitworth projects manager Mark Oaten said "We can always rely on FFP to continue to develop new approaches to keep them, and us, ahead of the game."
The new packaging was right first time that has allowed the snacks processing firm to meet their production schedule perfectly as well as on time.
As part of the project, FFP produced six triple laminate stabilo packs, four 'skinny pillow' packs and three doy packs for the range.
The packaging was also produced to meet a tight launch window.
