It's reported that India's steel giant Tata Steel announced its sales result for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2013/14 ended on June 30th. In the first quarter of the fiscal year 2013/14, the company's sales totaled 2.01 million tons, soaring by 26% year on year. In the given period of time, the country's crude steel output totaled 2.22 million tons, rising by 22%; that of liquid pig iron were at 2.46 million tons, increasing by 20%, both compared to the figures in the same period of a year ago.
